CareMount Medical Welcomes Eighteen New Physicians

Chappaqua, New York—September 16, 2020CareMount Medical, the largest independent multi-specialty medical group in New York State, is pleased to announce 18 new physicians have joined the medical group, which includes six new physicians from Manhattan-based Lexington OB/GYN who joined the group early this summer. CareMount has further expanded its office presence in New York City adding the 145 East 32nd Street location to more than 45 other offices.

Sarah Andiman, MD, FACOG (Urogynecology): Dr. Sarah Andiman is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Yale School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Andiman will be practicing at CareMount Medical’s Poughkeepsie Oakwood and Rhinebeck offices and will have privileges at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Jessica Chamish, MD (Pediatrics): Dr. Jessica Chamish received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College, and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Chamish practices at CareMount Medical’s Poughkeepsie Oakwood office and has privileges at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Tyrrell Jenkins, MD, MPH (Internal Medicine): Dr. Tyrrell Jenkins is board certified in internal medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency at Howard University Hospital. Prior to studying medicine, Dr. Jenkins earned a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Emory University. Previously, he practiced hospital medicine for a number of years and served as Chief Hospitalist at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Dr. Jenkins practices at CareMount Medical’s Mount Kisco 90 office and has privileges at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Christine Karwowski, MD (Pediatric Gastroenterology): Dr. Christine Karwowski is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poland, and completed her pediatric residency at Goryeb Children’s Hospital. She completed a clinical and research fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Previously, Dr. Karwowski was an attending physician at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. Dr. Karwowski practices at CareMount Medical’s Briarcliff Manor and Katonah offices and has privileges at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Daniel Kaufman, MD (Gastroenterology): Dr. Daniel Kaufman is board certified in internal medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, and completed his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kaufman practices at CareMount Medical’s Kingston, Poughkeepsie Columbia, and Rhinebeck offices and has privileges at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Nicole LaNatra, MD (Oncology and Hematology): Dr. Nicole LaNatra is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College, and completed her internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center, University Hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed a clinical fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at New York University School of Medicine. Previously, she was an attending physician at Bellevue Hospital Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. LaNatra is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Tatyana Morton, MD (Internal Medicine): Dr. Tatyana Morton is board certified in internal medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia University Medical Center. Previously, she was an attending physician at ColumbiaDoctors Primary Care, Columbia University, and was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Keerti Murari, MD (Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism): Dr. Keerti Murari is board certified in internal medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College, and completed her internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Murari is affiliated with the Endocrine Society. Abraham Nussbaum, MD, FAAP (Pediatrics): Dr. Abraham Nussbaum is board certified in pediatrics. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College, and completed his pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center. He specializes in the treatment of allergy and asthma, as well as developmental and mental health problems, including ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Previously, he was an attending pediatrician with Rhinebeck Pediatric Associates PC. Dr. Nussbaum is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and an Affiliate Fellow of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Nussbaum practices at CareMount Medical’s Kingston and Rhinebeck offices and has privileges at Northern Dutchess Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Rupal Parikh, MD, FAAP (Pediatrics): Dr. Rupal Parikh is board certified in pediatrics. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Grant Medical College, Bombay University, India, and completed her pediatric residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center. Prior to joining CareMount Medical, she was an attending pediatrician for more than 30 years with Rhinebeck Pediatric Associates PC, serving patients in the Rhinebeck and Hyde Park areas. Dr. Parikh is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Jocelin Reatiraza, MD, MPH (Internal Medicine and Pediatrics): Dr. Jocelin Reatiraza is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine-pediatric residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital.
