CareMount Medical Senior Directors Named to Crain’s New York Business, Custom Division’s Notable Women in Health Care List

Chappaqua, New York—August 7, 2018CareMount Medical, the largest, independent multi-specialty medical group in New York State, is pleased to announce Alicia Beardsley, RPA-C, Senior Director of Population Health Initiatives, and Donna Montalto, MPP, Chief of Staff and Senior Director of Special Projects, have been named to Crain’s New York Business’s 2018 Notable Women in Health Care listing. The inaugural listing honors executives, researchers and clinicians who have had a profound impact through work in their careers and in their communities. Honorees are selected based on a combination of professional achievements, community service, track record of mentoring others, and promotion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Ms. Beardsley joined CareMount Medical in 2015. She is a graduate of the Gannon University Physician Assistant Program, with extensive and diverse experience in clinical practice, clinical operations, population health, and care coordination.  As Senior Director of Population Health Initiatives, she works closely with medical, senior leadership, and community partners to enhance the healthcare delivery system, clinical outcomes and patient experience throughout CareMount Medical. In this role, she also developed and implemented CareMount Medical’s Care Coordination program which supports CareMount Medical’s selection and participation as a Next Generation Accountable Care Organization through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Prior to her current role, Ms. Beardsley spent over a decade in women’s health clinical practice, specializing in reproductive endocrinology and general OBGYN, and management of clinical operations and patient care delivery systems.  Ms. Beardsley resides in Hyde Park, NY with her husband and three daughters.

Ms. Montalto joined CareMount Medical in 2016. As Chief of Staff, Ms. Montalto implements the vision of the CEO by helping to drive work execution and coordinating complex challenges of the medical group while helping to facilitate goal-oriented outcomes that are in line with the group’s strategic vision.   As Senior Director of Special Projects, she develops a pipeline of through-put on new assignments related to CareMount Medical’s roadmap.  Prior to her current role, Ms. Montalto served for 26 years as the Executive Director for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, (ACOG), District II, overseeing medical education, communications, budgets, and legislative activities for 4,500 board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists in New York State. Ms. Montalto holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and certificates from several state and national leadership academies.  She serves on numerous hospital, medical and community boards.
