Dr. Tatyana Morton brings years of clinical internal medicine experience to CareMount Medical and a patient-centered approach that includes caring for the “heart and soul”. With emphasis on health maintenance, screenings, and healthy lifestyles for continued physical and mental health, Dr. Morton places great importance on engaging with her patients. She aims to understand their individual needs, favoring shared decision making and involving them wholly in all aspects of their care. Patients’ priorities are her priorities, specifically, listening to their concerns and being available when issues arise.
Dr. Morton is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She earned her MD from New York University School of Medicine, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Currently, she is pursuing an MPH degree (online) at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, with a focus on improving health and healthcare delivery.
Prior to joining CareMount, Dr. Morton was with Columbia Doctors Primary Care in NYC and Westchester and also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in NYC. In addition to English, Dr. Morton speaks fluent Russian. When she is not working or studying she loves spending time with her dog and all things outdoors.
