Family Medicine

Dr. Mathews graduated from medical school from The University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK. Since then she has worked both in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and in Malaysia before practicing here in the US. She completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Prior to joining CareMount Medical, she worked at the Institute for Family Health in NYC and as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Mt Sinai Hospital.

Her topics of interest include: Preventive Care: Nutrition and Exercise, Women’s Health: Contraception, Hypertension
