As a Urogynecologist at CareMount Medical, I specialize in diagnosing and treating women with pelvic floor disorders. I did my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology and then completed a 3-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Some of the conditions that I manage include: urinary incontinence (leakage of urine), overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse (often felt as a bulge in the vagina), recurrent UTIs, anal incontinence, pelvic floor fistula, vaginal mesh complications, and painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis. As a pelvic reconstructive surgeon, I perform a range of minimally invasive surgeries for pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence including vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
I am excited to announce that we opened a new state-of-the-art office procedure suite at 90 South Bedford Road, where we perform cystoscopies and urodynamic testing, as well as offer bladder Botox® injections for overactive bladder.
The most rewarding aspect of my job is being able to diagnose, treat, and help women better understand what can often be very embarrassing health conditions. Pelvic floor disorders can impact every aspect of a woman’s life, including her emotional, social, physical, and sexual wellbeing. If you believe that you may benefit from a consultation with me, please schedule an appointment by calling our office at either the Mt. Kisco or Carmel locations.
