Melody Oppedisano has been a nurse since 2008. She has nearly 14 years of experience in both adult and pediatric critical care.
Melody started her career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York. During her seven years there, she obtained specialization as a critical care nurse in pediatrics. In 2015, she left the PICU and transitioned to assistant nurse manager in the Emergency Department at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital/Westchester Medical Center, treating critically ill adult and pediatric emergency patients in the local level one trauma center, stroke center and burn center. Most recently, Melody worked as an adult nurse practitioner in the burn unit at Westchester Medical Center.
