Dr. Mark Lemert is a board certified gastroenterologist. He is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine and an Attending Physician at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Lemert specializes in advanced procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). His areas of interest include:
• Screening and prevention of colon cancer
• Diagnosis of pancreatic and biliary disease
• Management of gastric esophageal reflux disease
Dr. Lemert graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, with a B.A. in History. He received his medical degree and master’s degree in public health from George Washington University in Washington DC, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. He then remained at UCSD for an additional year of advanced training in endoscopic procedures. Dr. Lemert is also board certified in internal medicine.
