Peggy was born in Mt. Kisco, NY and grew up there as youngest in a large family. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with her major being the Biological Basis of Behavior. She then went to George Washington University Medical School graduating first in her class. She completed her pediatric residency at North Shore University Hospital and was chief resident. Then she came back home to join the Mt. Kisco Medical Group and has been here for the last 26 years.
Peggy really enjoys being a general pediatrician and following her patients and families from birth through college. She likes the variety of ages as well as the broad spectrum of illness, injury and developmental concerns she sees every day. She also likes being a member of the community she serves as she is on the foundation board at Northern Westchester Hospital.
Peggy has a college aged daughter who has been a competitive swimmer since age 6 and thus she has spent many of her free hours attending swim meets all over. She also has a mini labradoodle named Missy who requires lots of attention! Peggy’s hobbies include working out, playing piano and singing in a women’s choral group.
