Dr. Kenneth I. Pearlman is a board certified gastroenterologist and internist. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine, and an Attending Physician at New York University Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Pearlman has special expertise in:
• Colonoscopy procedures
• Colon cancer screening and surveillance
• Upper endoscopy for evaluation of upper intestinal problems such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and celiac disease
• Liver disease
Dr. Pearlman graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science and a Medical Degree from the Six-Year Biomedical Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, as well as his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the New York University – Manhattan Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Pearlman is also board certified in internal medicine.
He performs the vast majority of his procedures in the office in a state of the art endoscopy suite.
