Dr. Karmaker received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and completed his surgical residency at New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Jackson South Medical Center. Dr. Karmaker specializes in various laparoscopic and robotic general surgery procedures including hernia, biliary and colorectal surgeries. He also specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of hiatal hernia and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Dr. Karmaker is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Karmaker practices at CareMount Medical’s Cortlandt Manor and Fishkill Merritt offices and has privileges at NYP/Hudson Valley Hospital and Yorktown Center for Specialty Surgery.
