Don’t delay scheduling your child’s annual physical and vaccinations.

During well visits, your pediatrician screens your child for:

• Medical issues that can be easily managed when caught early — such as anemia and scoliosis.
• Hearing and vision abnormalities. If your child has an abnormal screen, he/she can be referred to a hearing specialist or vision specialist in a timely fashion.
• Mental health issues. This is especially important during the pandemic, when anxiety and depression rates among children and adolescents are high.
• Ability to participate in sports.
• Immunizations they are due for. They will also help your child catch up on immunizations they may have missed.​
