Infectious Disease


The Infectious Diseases department of CareMount Medical specializes in the medical care of patients with a wide variety of problems that include prevention and treatment of contagious pathogens. Our highly trained, board certified physicians provide diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex and life-threatening diseases. They provide both inpatient and outpatient services.

  • Tickborne infections, including Lyme disease, Babesisosis and Anaplasmosis (Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis)
  • Travel medicine, including pretravel consultations for disease prevention and post-travel consultations for problems.
  • Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections
  • Fever of unknown origin
  • Hospital acquired infections, including intensive care unit patients
